Maybe Mike and I should have corrected our daughter when she first uttered the word “thunderworm,” but the idea of great thunderworms that live in the sky and growl loudly and spit lightning is so much more appealing than a regular old thunderstorm, don’t you think?

  1. Oh geez. I have this thing about segmented creatures like worms, so that would really disturb me, unfortunately. But I do like the creative thinking involved!

    • Perfectly understandable. If my daughter had invented a thunderleech, I would probably hide under the bed and whimper during every storm.
