There is one week left in the Pair-a-dox exhibit at Hive Artspace! This is an interesting show, exploring pairings both expected and unexpected. My own contribution to the show:

Tortoise and the Hare
Watercolor on paper, mounted to cradled wood panel and sealed with cold wax medium
12″x12″
This painting was inspired by my recent trip to Florida where I saw gopher tortoises among prickly pear cacti in the scrub trails and an abundance of cottontail rabbits. Catch it at Hive Artspace Saturday & Sundays 12:00-4:00PM or via the online gallery. I also have a variety of prints available at Hive.
You may recall I painted Goldfinches/Meadow for a seed packet for Sow True Seed. They reached out to me yesterday to let me know that, by popular demand, my seed packet artwork has been turned into a postcard! Check it out here and maybe buy a few to support Sow True Seed, a small, employee-owned co-op based in North Carolina. My seed packets are still available as well and it’s not too late to plant your Northeast Native Flower Mix!

A reminder: the Birds 2: Feathers & Forms show at Manor Mill Gallery in Monkton Maryland ends June 28. I only have two paintings still available! Thank you to all the art buyers who has supported the exhibit so far. I will be at the closing reception on June 28, 5-6PM and am looking forward to taking one last look at this amazing exhibit.
